Summer Art Camp
Five weeks of my summer of 2016 were spent at
the beautiful Taft Museum of Art in Downtown Cincinnati. The experience was incredible fun as well as a wonderful learning experience for a budding teacher! Special acknowledgement to Erin Holland, Sarah Bellamy, Jessica Bohart, Shelley Komrska and my fellow interns; Hannah Smith and Carla Burkert for a wonderful internship. Elementary Weeks 1&2 with Sarah Bellamy
Students were inspired by fashion through different media; creating their own clothing designs,
practiced sewing skills, Gustav Klimt inspired dresses, buying and redesigning clothing from their
own ideas and sketches and displayed their redesigned creations in a fashion show.

Campers visited the recently opened traveling exhibition "Dressing Downton."
Campers viewed costumes from the hit PBS Masterpiece television series and used these costumes as
