I create artwork that is about ephemeral moments in time, the temporary. I am intrigued by light and the ideas of the temporary; I investigate how to recreate experience. Light and the passage of time are things that cannot truly be contained, even by photography and video. The physical experience cannot truly be captured. Through my work, I am trying to touch and preserve these fleeting moments, to make them tangible. My works are interdisciplinary and process centric. The research I conduct informs the creation of my art, and the process behind that creation.
